By identifying your model number, serial number, and for some equipment, your type code, you are helping us help you guarantee your part is the correct fit.
Why is this so important? Your equipment model may have variations depending on specs and manufactured year.
For example: If you need a timing belt for a Ford F-150, you wouldn't go to the parts store and simply ask for a timing belt for a F-150. You would need to specify the year, make, and model of your exact vehicle. This is the same for outdoor power equipment and small engines.
